I sincerely didn't want to create a standard, fussy wedding invitation package–
we're not stuffy, and our wedding was not going to be traditional.
We wanted to design an invitation that our friends would want to hang on
their fridge. Instead of making an art-like invitation, I created a piece of art that
then doubled as an invitation.
Marfa is our happy place, and every time we go I end up spending a lot of time
sitting in pokey, dry, sun-faded grass drawing.
The typography is reminiscent of the understated "default" typography that is
everywhere and so charming in Marfa.
I know there's a typo on the back, I somehow ended up without a
single final invitation for my portfolio
